The #1 Roadblock Keeping You From Success!

By Dani Johnson

I’m blown away with the amount of excuses that people can come up with. It’s ridiculous and completely endless how people invent them in order not to succeed. Most people spend their entire life instantaneously choosing excuses.
Excuses are so engrained into us that it becomes a knee-jerk reaction, something we instantly come up with for reasons why we can’t do something instead of coming up with ideas how to make it happen. We’ve been conditioned for excuses by the media, Internet, advertising, and movies.
But, what about results? Why aren’t we conditioned for them instead of for reasons and excuses?

I’ve always said that the definition of an excuse is a well-planned lie.

“Gosh, I’d love to but I’m kind of busy.”

“I don’t have the time for that.”

“I’m too old (or too young).”

“I’m too fat (or too skinny).”

“I grew up on the wrong side of the tracks.”

I believe that this is the number one roadblock that keeps people from success! Let me share my own personal story about excuses.

The Best Lesson I Ever Learned - It Made Me A Millionaire

by Dani Johnson

The worst thing about success is a little bit. This is when you begin to think that you’ve got it all together, all figured out, and don’t need any more help. You move from humble, desperate, and teachable all the way to completely stubborn, pig-headed, and unsuccessfully directing others to do what you don’t even know how to do. This is the worst thing about success!

But the best lesson that I ever learned that made me a millionaire is this:

I had a little bit of success in business which earned me an invitation into a board meeting with a man making a half-a-million dollars a month. I was the only woman in the room and all the other participants were within 5 years of my age.

Everyone was chiming in and talking, when I spoke up and said, “You know, I have a great idea!”

The millionaire slams his hand on the desk and completely humiliates me by saying, “You are so stupid!”

Resisting The Blame Game And Seeing The “Overlooked” Obvious

By Dani Johnson

Are you blaming circumstances or others for your lack of success? Are you blind to the overlooked obvious? Many people just can’t see what the true problem to their success is? Are you one of them?

I’ll never forget a conversation I had several months ago with a waitress who worked at a restaurant my husband and I would often visit. We were on a weekly date, something that we’ve done for years, and decided to have a burger. Well, whenever we go to this certain place there’s always a line inside and outside waiting to get in. And, that was the case this particular night.

After we were seated, I struck up a conversation with the waitress. “Wow,” I said, “You guys are really packed.”

Four Strategies That Guarantee Your Success

by Dani Johnson

I learned some strategies very early in my business career from a multi-millionaire. These strategies guaranteed my success and can do the same for you.

1. Don’t give any opinions or suggestions.
When I was invited to a board meeting with this multi-millionaire, he told me to sit down, shut up, and pay attention. “Once your stack is as big as mines, then you can offer your opinion or suggestions,” he stated. This was a harsh thing for him to say in response to a suggestion I wanted to make. But it got my attention, and this became one of the most important lessons I’ve learned in my business career. So I offer it to you. Keep your suggestions to yourself and listen. Use every opportunity to learn from an expert instead of trying to size up to them to prove your worthiness or superiority.

Are you on the Right Path for Success?

by Dani Johnson

Birds of a feather flock together. You’ve heard that old adage before, but now you can use it to determine whether or not you’re on the right path for success. Here’s how.

In business, we apply this concept to people by saying that there are two kinds of population groups—the 98% and the 2%–and they flock with their own kind.

The 98% flock is the majority of the population. These are the people who think that they have it all together. They’ve bought into the American dream hook, line, and sinker and have created, as a result, a lifetime of personal debt.

by Dani Johnson

Leaders in Network Marketing can use these secrets to avoid the trap of the comfort zone and keep their businesses growing. Your check is over 5 figures per month and you have hit one of the top positions in your company’s compensation plan. Prosper Where You Are Planted

by Dani Johnson

I watch people every single day working their jobs like drones with no sense of purpose, no vision and no spirit of excellence. This article will reveal how important it is to prosper where you are planted, making the most of what you have so that you are ready to bring that spirit of excellence into all future opportunities, giving you the best chance to succeed.

Let’s get real here. There are tens of thousands of people laid off every year, which proves that there is no such thing as job security. There is no security in life at all.

This example of OJT (On the Job Training) will help you develop your brand new reps into recruiting machines.

Our new rep Bob has purchased his start up package, made his list of resources and is ready for his first day of OJT. It is the next day and we’re getting to know each other a bit and developing a friendship. I’m going to take 20-30 minutes max to go through these things with Bob.

MLM Training Tips – Easy Way To Get Your New Rep’s Warm Market

by Dani Johnson

One of the most uncomfortable steps in starting new reps in their Network Marketing business is asking them to make a “list of names.” You will find that most of them are not willing to do it, partially because you are not handling their objection before you ask. Here is a sure fire way to have newbies gladly hand over at least 200 names immediately.

You must create an eager desire in a new rep to make a list of names. A great way to do this is to depict a real-world scenario by saying, “Bob, let’s just say that you are going to start a new restaurant. You got a $100,000 loan from the bank that just covered the initial costs of setting up, getting decorations, equipment, tables, chairs, linens, and enough to pay your first employees.”

Why Home-Based Business - Finding Purpose in What You Do

by Dani Johnson

Do you know what your purpose is? When you lose the sense of purpose, you end up losing the excitement for what it is that you do. When you lose the excitement, you become lazy and apathetic. You then have short-term mindsets that don’t even resemble goals. When you can find purpose in what you do, everything around you becomes more dynamic and exciting. Let’s explore what living with purpose truly means.

You’ve got to find purpose in what you do. It all boils down to how you look at things. Some of you feel the strong sense of “I’ve got to do something. I’ve got to become someone. There has to be more to life than what I’m currently doing.” As you are feeling this, you look at your current job or business and think to yourself, “this doesn’t fit.” There is a divine dissatisfaction deep inside of your soul that is there for a reason. It is not there by accident. This divine dissatisfaction comes from losing a sense of purpose in what you are doing.

Professional Network Marketing Skills To Win the MLM Game

by Dani Johnson

Successful companies look for mastery of certain skill sets when hiring for a specific job. A person with greater skills gets paid more. In Network Marketing, the same applies; your paycheck grows with your skill level. Let’s look at how increasing your skill set will help you reach your goals faster.

How can anyone expect to earn a six-figure income in Network Marketing with the skills of a minimum wage job? I began my home business career with no skills and proceeded to fail miserably my first six months. I was about to quit when a construction worker who was already earning $15,000 a month after attending several weekend training seminars conducted by a home business millionaire gave me an ultimatum. He said that I would fail and he wouldn’t help me if I didn’t attend the next seminar to get the skills I needed to succeed. Failure was not an option so I borrowed the money and went to learn the skills from a multiple 7-figure earner.

by Dani Johnson

Even the best MLM recruiters can have difficulty keeping people around and actively building their businesses. This article will show you the simple process to keep your reps motivated and producing results. You will now understand the most important first step to developing a healthy and growing team.

Before we get to that first step you must grasp the basic concept of working your business consistently. If you work your business consistently, it will grow consistently.
