MLM Team Building – Higher Standards in Network Marketing
by Dani Johnson
Your Network Marketing recruiting success depends so much on the standards you set for who is qualified to join your team. I’m going to show you the standards my team lived up to that resulted in them dominating the bonus charts month after month. You must raise your standards if you truly desire to be a 6 or 7 figure earner in your home based business.
Your prospect or new team member says, “I have no warm market and no money to advertise or buy leads.” This, my friends is a form of whining, murmuring and complaining, none of which meet my standards. In the year that I earned $250,000, I started with no money, no family within 3,000 miles, no home and no telephone. My burning desire to succeed led me to find a way where there appeared not to be one.
You must set your standards much the same as IBM, Dell, HP or any other successful company. If you were hiring for one of these companies and a job applicant said, “what if I don’t have the money to pay for the gas to come to work?” This person couldn’t even get a job in fast food! Cut your losses by telling them, “I’m sorry but this is not for you. We’re not starting out on the right foot.” Poof, you’re done with this person.
You are not in your business to build failures. You are not in your business to build people who want to be mediocre or average. You are not in the business of giving people a hand out. You are, however, in the business of teaching people how to fish so that they can feed themselves for a lifetime.
You must decide what your standards are. Are you building an outhouse or are you building a dynasty? Do you want to build something meant to last or a building that will crumble as soon as the first storm comes in?
Your Network Marketing business is not a lottery ticket or a get rich quick scheme. I have helped develop 6 and 7 figure income earners and they are on a different path than your average home business builder who wants to get in, sit on there little distributor kit and hope to lay some golden egg. It takes work dedication and skill to build a successful business. Make sure that you don’t compromise your standards and you will have a growing enterprise that produces a professional income.
